Burnaby Hospice Society is a charitable organization committed to providing dignified, compassionate support to hospice patients and residents who are grieving.
The Grade 7 Leadership Team from Gilmore Elementary School turned a simple cup of hot chocolate into a powerful act of generosity. On December 12, 2024, students, staff, and community members came together for a Hot Chocolate Fundraiser, raising an impressive $760 in support of the Burnaby Hospice Society.
This heartwarming initiative was made possible thanks to the generosity of local businesses. A special thank you to JJ Bean, Save-On-Foods (Madison Centre), Waves, Coffee+Vanilla, Starbucks (Carleton and Kensington), Ambit Café, Fior Di Latte, and Safeway (Kensington and Willingdon) for their contributions. Their support helped make this event a success.

To everyone who participated—whether by donating, volunteering, or enjoying a cup of hot chocolate—thank you for supporting compassionate hospice care in our community. Your kindness makes a difference!
